Learning. Exploring. Loving.

Sightseeing lately! We climbed the tallest mountain near Sanbon, went to the Seoul Zoo, and visited the National Museum of Korea. The museum was so big we could only make it through the first floor (of three) in one day.

Life in the R.o.K.

We are officially in Sanbon! Celebrated our first Friday night, Gangnam style, and watched the sunset at the park near our apartment. City life has its perks.

Lake Crescent, Olympic peninsula.

Excelsior Peak today. Entirely rewarding snowy scramble…in chacos.

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies—Goddamnit, you’ve got to be kind.

The truly Lost Lake in Bellingham. Glad we chose to ignore the weather predictions and go anyway.

Climbing at Mt. Erie today…lots of hiking through sticker bushes and repelling off 60 meter cliffs. Average day at Erie.

Kauai, Hawaii. Loved the sunshine and living outside, did not much care for the nightly rain storms.
